| This course is
designed to increase the drivers awareness
of the dangers he/ she will encounter in every
day conditions.
The definition requires the driver to consider
each feature in sequence at the approach
to each hazard. Safe driving necessitates
appreciation of the road conditions and
correct manipulation of the controls to
ensure safe passage of the vehicle at all
times.
A MUST for drivers who
wish or need to increase their driving skills.

| Drivers are you
putting up your insurance claims through poor
reversing techniques. Unsure of the mechanical
principles involved in reversing, then we
can help.
Reversing requires the application of basic
mechanical principles and all round observation
on the drivers part.
Most accidents occur as a result of poor
observation and an inability of the driver
to judge the length of the vehicle and pivotal
point of the rear axles.

| EU Regulation
561/2006 requires that all drivers with
few
exceptions, (such vehicles are subject to
the requirements of the Transport ACT 1968)
must comply in full with the laws relating
to driving periods, rests, breaks and other
driver related activities. Applies to all
vehicles over 3.5 tonnes.
This course deals with the principal drivers
hours regulations which apply in the United
Kingdom and other EU member states.

EU regulation 3821/85 applies to the majority
of vehicles in the UK and in other EU member
states. Both EU and UK rules require records
of driving activity to be recorded and available
for inspection by authorised examiners.
This course will demonstrate the different
types of recording devices (tachographs)
the different methods of keeping records
and how to complete tachograph charts.
